What do they weigh now days Rich?

The 2005 Montesa/HRC four-stroke weighs 162 pounds, but it's tubby compared to the Gas Gas Pro that supposedly only weighs 150.
Either way, my two-stroke Montesa 315R sure feels light to me, and is really easy to toss around.

Wow....70lbs less than a MX'r...

70 pounds less, but it feels even lighter because of the balance and the way the overall weight is positioned. You can walk along side the bike rolling it slowly, grab the front brake and tail whip the entire bike with ease. Now if I can just learn to do that while I'm on the pegs I'll be golden.
It's incredibly fun to ride these things, even in a parking lot. I just wish I would have bought one sooner.

Here is a good link to look at the GasGas trials history. Like Montesa, starting around 1995 the bikes began to get the more familiar modern look.

Looks like Rich is a full on Trials convert
It really is an obscession. Without a doubt the single best thing I've ever done to improve my overall "big bike" riding too.
HERE is a very cool old bike (please excuse the site it comes from). Wish I had the extra cash, would be a very cool ride.

Rich, I read something a while back on the Honda; they were doing a lot of testing with fuel injection. Are they sucking or blowing the fuel in on the production model? Thanks for the updates! I considered buying a Sherco 290 instead of my YZ125 to return to the dirt. I would probably be a little more 'healthy' now if I had.

Just received my DR mag. with the answer. It's here.
Now if they can just get it right for the 2 stroke.....
