Hey whats up, Ive got a 2005 Honda CRF250X and am having some problems with it. It used to start 1st kick and ran perfect. I accidently let it idle to long with the choke out and it overheated. Since then over the last month it has started to slowly not want to kick over, and now it does not start cold unless I bump start it and wont idle. Once it is warmed up it will kick over every once in a while but ussually takes about 20 kicks, and the electric start just turns the motor over and over but never starts. Any ideas on what is casuing the starting and idleing problems? Thanks alot

Have you measured the intake valve clearance? Usually if valves needs to be adjusted, bike won't start.

Check the plug and change it.

Welcome to the wonderful world of 4-strokes.

Sorry, couldn't resist. The plug should be your first checkpoint, then valves.
