I am about to get a Tusk Clutch Kit w/ springs. i was wondering if anyone else has one in their bike? And how do the steel plates effect the powerband? Nic

dont bother- i tried one and it swelled up on the gate and my bike stalled just before the start. i sent it back.

try ProX- they are OEM, but cheaper.- they even sell the fulls kits.

going from ally to steel plates, it will be difficult to feel any difference IMO

I put a Tusk kit in my son's '99 CR125 It seems to work fine. The steel plates seem to help it come from low to middle RPM's

Mu buddy has used 2 in his 200sx and loves them. Another friend has one in his 2001 CRF450 with no problems. The price was cheap I can't see a pro-x being any cheaper. If so where can I get them at these prices. I think 26.95 for a 200sx clutch. The steel plates will last a little longer and will not contaminate the oil as quickly. They are a little heavier so in theory yur bike should lose a little snap. I don't know if you'll be able to feel the difference though.

on my cr250 and they have been fine for trail riding and dunes. for the price you can't beat 'em.
