Hahaha! That picture is classic.

Who am I kidding? They'd all still smoke me.

Great pics. Thats my youngest #10 on the kx. I still dont know how those two kept from going over backwards. this was our first dirtweek. Next year I'm making plans to attend all week.

Posted by: WaltCMoto---------------------

Stephanie had an absolute blast. She is already looking forward to next year. I got her out on the big track a few times when there was low traffic and she would do about 20 laps, never seemed to wear out. I told her I had to stop cause I couldnt feel my hands anymore.

Posted by: wardy---------------------

LOL i told him for the last month to learn the clutch, na the ole man don't know what he is talking about. those are great pictures and now are wallpaper on the desktop.
I wish those two would have got out even on the start, it would have been a good, close race.

Love seeing that #35 YZ80 still out there pounding laps Walt I think I under priced it when I sold it to you if it is still going but the payback is knowing it is still getting a workout by riders that love it as much as my Eric did

Great shots Tony!

Posted by: yamadog911---------------------

My boys name is Nicholas.

Wardy, I with you man I think it would have been a great race if mine could have kept it on two wheels on the start. Theres nothing like watching the little guys battle on the track..

Posted by: Vic---------------------

Cool pics!

Posted by: D Lafleur---------------------

This kid has never run a mx race in his life, I really thought he would ride like he did earlier during practice. He caught fire when the hat dropped. I did get him to actually jump later in the day on the KX.

The 'ol 35 has a new life. Stephanie loves it. She would be more comftorble on a xr100 right now, but she has taken to the clutch quite well and still learning gear selection for condition at hand. One big possitive is that she can pick it up, find neutral and start it. She even was able to make it up the big step up.

How old are all the kids?

Posted by: WaltCMoto---------------------

They range from 4-68. There were 20 or so under 15.

Posted by: mafols---------------------

Sure...I know they're big boys now...but they're still "the kids" to me.

Hey, we had dinner with that kid Saturday, he didn't seem THAT crazy?

Posted by: mafols---------------------

Well...he's moved to your neck of the woods now... so take care of him for me

Posted by: Okiewan---------------------

Will do. Good "kid", should be easy. Is he allowed to go to the tracks with us?

Posted by: mafols---------------------

Thanks...

I leave for Big Bend the 26th but will be back the 30th. 15th year we have gone down that week. I am open in January, but it might be more fun to go further south then.

Posted by: mafols---------------------

I'm open to suggestions......let me know when you make some plans. Further south might be closer for me anyway.

Yeah, I am trying to sell him my house.

If he gets out of line (like blows by me on the track) do I have your permission to smack him on the back of his head? I mean technically that is disrespecting his elders. (damnit, now I am an elder... )

Posted by: mafols---------------------

He's had alot of practice roosting his elders...i.e. ME

Posted by: Thump---------------------

We'll do what we can to make him feel at home around here.

Is that supposed to comfort him Thump.......I'd be nervous Mafols!

Posted by: junkjeeps---------------------

We could get together at Forest Hills and try the new single track loop. I'm open to Barnwell too.

Mark

Posted by: Okiewan---------------------

Woods?

Posted by: Patman---------------------

Barnwell would be good stuff Okie. Provided you keep your toes on the pegs or get those quad bark busters welded on for your feets.

I am sure the rocks at Barnwell will hurt a lot less than the roots at the 500. However if you guys go, let me know.

I know where there is a place that the wife will ride off road.

I wont call you out directly, because it is a little drive.
