Ryan Capes Clears 310 Feet!

Ryan Capes cleared a 235 foot gap and landed 75 feet past the ramp lip.

From take off point to landing it was 310 ft. 4 inches!

... the thing that amazes me is he was on and off the gas just before hitting the ramp! Very obvious when you see the video, too.

Look at the landing, his whole body snaps downward from the force of impact. Talk about a pogo stick if you weren't ready for the impact of the landing. Followed by the worst rag doll roll you ever saw.

HLG, your right you can clear see him roll of the throttle twice, blip it twice then wick it again just before hitting the ramp. Its a good thing he did, otherwise see above.

Great job Ryan!

I don't think he can jump that far because those feathers hanging of the back of his jacket slow him down too much!

Here is a direct link to his video from his web-site. Knevil may break the record for distance jumped and the record for most broken bones in a crash. I saw him bite it in Sturgis a few years back.

We'll see if that statement can be made in jest in 3 years... I hope so.

Just an FYI? I was very close to getting a 2-stroke this year. But as I pump-up with a 450, I do on a 250 (2-t). 125 2-t, nope, so that leaves a CRF250.

seriously, I think that might be a great fit. Those bikes have "enough" power to do just about anything (as Nikki showed us) but they are reasonably light, and there's something fun about revving the heck out of any dirt bike!

Uh, yeah I was kidding. Considering all the stickers on his bike were "Monster", his clothing was all "Monster" and he was holding a can of "Monster" at all times. LOL
