i was just wondering my first bike ride was on a kx 125 and i had to tppie toe to touch the ground. i was thinkin about getting just a little smaller bike for the comfort and so i could be stable while being stationary. also i like how you are so high off the ground on the kx 125. what would be the smaller size but i dont want it to be reakky small. i reakky need to know what to get because i am getting a bike soon. thanks alot!

Go with the 125 your balance will improve with more time on the bike i'm 5'5 and yea I tip toe on mine but it doesn't bother me anymore cause i' use to it now.

Go with the 125, shave the seat for a little off the height.

I had my lil'sis get on my 125SX yesterday, she is on tip-toes as well. For my own personal enjoyment, I told her to start it. "Push it about half way down, then give it a quick jab" I said. Amazed the **** out of me when it not only fired up, but was still standing upright without me holding it.

how do you shave the seat...does it make the ride more uncomfortable like when you hit bumbs or whatever

Get the 125. At 5'4" I was very concerned about it too - last time I had rode seriously was 15 years ago on my '86 CR80. I love the 125 now. An inch or two shorter would be great for starts, but I never really notice it on the track - If I need to put my foot down I'm leaned over in a corner anyway.

It is a bit of an issue in the woods on hillsides and stuff like that, but I don't ride woods that much . . .

GO with a 125. the only time you will feel like it is too big is when you are on crazy, rutted out, rocky hill climbs.
