anyone try the (A.R.C. MX220V) Boots????

My bike came with a pretty bagged out pair of Tech 8s that I wore until now, they is a large tear in the right boot from snaging on the brake pedal so its time to get some new ones. I dont need a really expensive boot as im just getting back into riding, and dont want to spend a fortune on boots just yet, All I want is good protection, and decent hardware. The A.R.C. MX 220Vs look like the tech 10s, now I know they probabally dont compair in any other way than looks but.... have any of you tried them or know of anyone who has and likes them, the price is right, and they look well built......

I have a pair and so far they have held up good except for the straps coming loose sometimes.
