how are you guy's figuring out which district you are?

i'm in NH and want to start doing hare scambles.

mostly all i do is tight woods stuff so i have my bike pretty much set up to take a beating.

i just started racing mx last year and loved it, but i know my home is still in the woods.

same district as mx in your area

is the district the same for ama, b/c there are also alot of tracks here w/ districts that aren't art of the ama.

i would guess that ama is the best way to find them, see if this LINK helps

that link you gave me is awesome,

but i do have one question again.... when i tried a number of different states i can't find any representatives, see the only thing i want to know is when the ama races are held in my state, b/c i always hear of them when its too late.

When you sign up with AMA you get a monthly magazine, and in the back there is a listing of the races by district for the next month. Also, you could just sign up with the local district you would race in, they give you a book with the entire year's schedule of all races in their district.

Check into TrailRider mag since you're in NH. Also, Cycle News has race schedules in the back broken down by districts or areas.

New Enlgand Trail Riders Association (NETRA) is the org that runs Hare Scrambles and Enduros throughout New England. Last year there were 15 HS races and 10 enduros.About half of the HS race were in Ct. 1 in Mass, 1 RI, 1 Vt, 1 Alton NH, 4 in NY. The enduros were evenly split between Ct. and Mass. with one in Alton NH. You can ride in any event once you pay your yearly membership fee $35.00, and race fee at each race.(usually about $35.00) Practice your rock skills because the HS courses are very rocky and tight. I ride a KDX 220 and on most of the courses I rarely go higher than third gear. I think I got it into 6th gear once or twice. The HS races start again in April. There might be an Enduro in Feb. Good luck, hope to see you this year.

so mostly they run the hare scrambles throughout New England, and not just in New Hampshire?

right now me and some racin buddies can't really travel far to go to the other hare scrambles. i haven't even seen a listing for 1 in New Hampshire.

we're trying to find a box truck. that should haul all our stuff
