hello everyone just wanted ur guys openions on this. i ride an 03 kx 125 and im thinking of gearing it. right now im at 12:49 and 13:51 is stock.
im thinking of swithcing to 11:49 i usually dont get out of third ocasionally ill hit fourth depending on track. its a 6 speed transmission. you guys think this will be to much gear. also will will gearing my bike cut my lap times and will it be easier to clear jumps?
thank u for ur help...

No input with the gearing selection really, but I have read that have a too small of a front sprocket will wear a chain faster, because the chain has to go a a tighter angle to fit tightly to the smaller sprocket. I am not sure of how small of a sproket you can goto with out this being a problem, but I thought I would throw it in there to think about.

Just FYI, I've used 11/52 for awhile because the track I race at the most is a very tight arenacross style track. I haven't noticed any problems.
