It was my first Dirt Week and one of the things that so impressed me is how there was such an expression of joy when someone elses day was made. How cool is that?!!

One of my golden rules for kids races is that "every kid leaves with a trophy" you just cant beat that. I happen to know a kid that has a Vet B (35+) Hare Scramble first place trophy on his shelf. It was his first trophy, in 27 or so years he will actually be old enough to race that class, I just hope by then he is AA or at least enjoying this sport as much as I do.
It is amazing that behind a keyboard on a "not so good day" little things like this can just bring a smile.
