Heard anything about AX?

Have you heard anything about BooKoo Arenacross, I would really like some feedback?? Oh and dont forget about Reading Jan. 6-8, 2006, first races of the NEW YEAR!!

Hmm,

Smells like spam, but I'll bite.

I went to the Albany AX at the Pepsi Arena. We don't get SX in the NE so I guess it's the next best thing. It's enjoyable to see once a year. I have been to several AX races in one season (Albany and Reading), and it's all too much the same.

Those were both Clear Channel's though, have you been to a BooKoo one yet?

I went to the Bookoo arenacross in Fort Worth....The racing was good but there was hardly anyone there to watch the races..I've never seen a stadium that empty at an event.

Okay, I give. What the hell is Bookoo AX?

Posted by: Chili---------------------

BooKoo is the new AX series started by Mike Kidd. Kidd was the orginator of the AX series that was then purchased by Clear Channel, part of the sale was a 5 year no compete clause which expired earlier this year. Kidd has started a new series sponsored by BooKoo Energy drink.

well in that case, this seems to smell greatly of SPAM!!!

Posted by: oldguy---------------------

It is a form of spam but if he is just looking for feedback and maybe would use the ideas to improve on what he offers I don't see a major problem. Please keep it in this vien and not turned into a promotion.

BTW I haven't been to one as of yet but would be willing to give it a try if there is one near Milwaukee.

Spam, LOL....give the guy a break, he goes up against clear channel (who have the lame-assed AMA by the nuts) and starts a racing series that isnt called "Lites", he deserves a medal and all the luck in the world. Plus, i know a lot of people have been running amatuer days at his race series.

Posted by: Jamir---------------------

I just call it like I see it. If it comes to KC, I will go see it, then call it.

Posted by: Chili---------------------

Well it would realistically only be spam if this was Mike Kidd or one of his underlings doing the posting. Perhaps it's just someone stuck for a user name when they signed up? Given the professional approach to press releases I've seen from Kidd's organization, this would be my guess versus a quick spam judgement.

give me a break man. I am just hungry. Spam Spam the treat in a can.

Posted by: XRpredator---------------------

with the home page listed, looks rather spammish to me . . .

Not that I got anything against someone going up against clear channel

I'm not affiliated with them in any way and we probably won't go on Sat. to watch (mmm.. maybe) the pros. We will go to the Tulsa round on Sun. to race! Sunday's are for amatuers and kids. Go race and take a can of Spam with you!

Round #8 Jan. 13-15, 2006 Winston-Salem, NC Lawrence Joel Memorial Coliseum
Round #9 Jan. 20-22, 2006 Charlotte, NC Cricket Arena
