01 CR250 inner chamber oil weight choice

I have searched through a ton of posts to get a clear answer as to what weight oil in the inner chamber gives a plusher ride. I presently have the Mobil 1 ATF in both chambers. It seems to work well, but I am about to give it a winter oil change and thought I would get some answers before performing the work. I had read that people were happy with the Mobil 1 ATF but that experimenting with thinner oil for the inner chamber had given then good results in "plushing up" the front end. I was wondering if anyone had a definite weight oil they had used and how they liked it? BTW - I weigh 175 and have stock springs. Also any need to go to softer inner chamber springs to help out this cause?

Thanks

Motorex 2.5w was very popular for the showa inner chamber.

Thanks, I'll have to try that out. What was Mobil 1 ATF again is it an 8 weight?

I heard atf is more like 15w. The hot setup for the cr250 forks is motorex 2.5 in the inner chamber and mobil1 0w30 in the outer chamber.
