Ohio HS -Big Game 1/22 Studs?

Is anyone here planning to ride this sunday? It is supposed to be warm (45). I know studs are allowed in jan & feb....but since it is warm, are they needed? or would there be a reason not to run them?
I have studs left over from Ice tires from my flat track days, but never riden the woods with them....anyone with experience please respond. Thx

Is the course full of roots? If so, not matter what the weather studs would probably help.

Where the sun hits the trail/track there will be mud but in the shaded confines there will be black ice. I'd stud her up.

WOW! the studs worked great...minimal ice today (rare for ohio) but lots of mud (not rare!)...wet tree roots were no problem either..thanks for the advice...had a blast.
