I changed my clutch plates in my bike 2 day. everything went good but once i was done and it was all back together i pulled in the clutch and it went straight in. No pressure no nothing. I didnt have time to take it apart so i thought i would ask and maybe someone had the same problem. Its prob something stupid but thanx.

Did you remember to insert the actuator rod (Clutch Pusher) and shims? I was in a hurry befor a ride and was installing a Hinson basket before a big ride. Got it all together, or so I thought, only to pull the lever in and find the only resistance was the return spring Fortunately my 8 year old listened to my cussing for a few minutes and then said maybe I forgot that "Thingy" that I left by the coffee pot Sure enough there was the Pusher, Bearing and Shims! 15 minutes and it was ready to go.
I'm assuming you already checked the obvious; cable connected, plates all in, Etc. Do you have a shop manual? If not I can Fax you the clutch pages if need be.
