central IL. boy looking for land

Where do I go to ride? Old man with an old bike looking to get back. Anyone ride in central Illinois? Or Illinois, Missouri, Iowa, Kentucky or Indiana? I'm an old drag racer and travel time doesn't bother me. Closest "big" track was 2 hrs. away and weekends on the road racing 3 days wasn't abnormal. Please tell me where I can trail ride with good people. Thanks, Mike

Go get a membership at www.ltmoffroad.com for like $60 a year, and you can ride their trails, GP track, and MX track all year around. www.southforkdirtriders.com is another offroad park in your area and they are open for riding every day as well. Then, if you get bored, you can travel north to www.foxvalleyoffroad.com or buffalorange.tripod.com for a day trip.

Southfork is the closest to you. Also, Astoria which is about an hour west has a track and trails, has some nice hills.
