Fork springs from kx?

Is it possible to use fork springs from a kx model in our forks? I know the diameter is much larger but are the springs too big to work? Reason I ask is because I found alot of kx springs for sale very cheap on Egay and if i could pay 5 bucks for a pair instead of 50 or more I would be very happy.

Well, they are too big to fit IN the KDX forks, generally.
I guess if you can't get them installed, they wouldn't work too good.
I've read quite a number of posts saying that OEM XR springs are commonly available. Look for some of those of a proper rate....and you will be very happy!
