YZ250 Vs. CRF250?

I heard alot of different opinions on the different bikes, and alot of things I don't beleive such as having to replace alot of crap on the the YZ every year. Is Yamaha as reliable as Honda?

Any bike is as reliable as you make it thanks to regular maintenance.

your comparing apples to oranges

a 250 2 stroke and 250 4 stroke are pretty different.

What you using it for- race, trail??

need more info to help you out.

I perfer Yamaha over Honda but any bike will be good as long as your good to it.

Sorry I forgot to mention they will both be 4 strokes, and they will be for jumping and cruising. I'm basically just using it to get better at riding before I get an R6

I would go with a yamaha because my 2004 honda crf250r has been having some trouble with it and i always maintan it fine. I change the oil after every ride, clean the air filter, clean the bike, but still it doesnt have the power it started out with.

So i would go with a yamaha.

other way around makes it sound right. And no, the Yamaha isn't as reliable as the Honda because the honda isnt reliable!!

The YZ-F has been the most reliable fourstroke motocross bike. you asked if it was as reliable as a honda, but the honda isnt reliable. I just made my expression pretty much saying the YZ isnt as unreliable as the CRF.

go with the honda. I have a honda crf250r and my cousin has a yamaha yz250f and i also smoke him. The yamaha has better handling put if you want power off the line and just more power over all go with the honda.
