need a new bike...

OK, so I'm in need of a new (or slightly used) bike. Right now I have a 2001 XR100 and I've been too big for it for a while now.
Here's the info:
1) 6'1", 158 lbs
2) Not too weak 
3) I plan to ride trails, woods, etc. We own 18 acres, so I'll mostly be riding there.
4) I've been riding since 2nd grade, and I'm going to be 16 in 3 months
5) I will race some of my buddies, duh! 
6) I'm not gonna mess w/ my bike by myself, I might add a slip-on muffler.
7) I'm a Honda man...4-stroke is the way to go for me (trail riding)
9) I would like to get it for $6,000 or less
10) I'm thinking a CRF250X is good....maybe a 2005 model (I found some one's that were in good shape for less that $6,000.) Anybody have any experience w/ these bikes?? Also, I'm open to others' opinions on diff. models. Thanks.

Sounds like a good choice to me. It seems like you already know what you want, so I would suggest you get it. You'll be happiest with what you want, not something that someone else wants, so make sure whatever you buy, you are happy with the bike.

sounds good to me. I think if you can get that bike for less then 6000$ then u should go for it.
