dirtbikes legal one two city streets!

In Lake Huges the police allow us to connect two trails that are about 1 and 1/2 miles apart. On the way is a gas statin and the famous motorcycle resturant "The Rock Inn". This week as I rode down the street and pulled into the gas station the Sherriff pulled inn behind me. He walked past me and my bike without a second look and went in to buy a snack. How cool is that?

That's really cool, but watch out for the distinction between what's legal and what's enforced. Out here, during sponsored enduros, the CHP and local Sheriffs kinda look the other way with un-plated bikes on the street, but that doesn't make it legal.
