Does anyone have any fitment advice (for a 1998 KDX220).

Do the triple clamp models fit? if so, which mount type (IIRC there are two). If not, how much modification was required?

I'm assuming the regular 7/8" bar mount ones fit without issue (drill out bar ends as necessary).

I run these on my 05 KDX 200. I have the stock triple clamp. The front mount triple clamp model is the one you want. I love mine. You should get longer pinch bolts for the fork as they are not included but the stock ones work until you can get them. I have Renthal 7/8 bars and no drilling was required. I did have to shorten each side about 1/2 inch to get them to fit. The instructions tell you that you might have to shorten them but there is about 1 inch of adjustment room in the design. Took me about 1.5 hours to install in my garage. Hope this helps.
