Ok fokes, I am totally new to suspension and I am going to be changing the fork oil and seals in my 1993 CR 125 this weekend. Can anyone tell me how many CCs or MMs or whatever needs to go in each tube? I would rather not spend $40 on a manual for this one question.
If anyone has owned or wrenched on this bikes forks please feel free to advise.
Thank you,
Brad

Anyone? With the forks totally compressed and the spring removed, I need to know how much distance there should be from the oil level to the top of the forks. At least a baseline to start with so I can to tweek them?
Thanks

110mm should put you in the ballpark.

Well I took out all the Oil from my forks last night and only got maybe a 1/2 quart from both. Does that seem right, I mean I knew they were leaking a little but there should have been WAY more then that in there.
So when I put everything back together I want to first leave out the springs, and then compress the forks so they are totally colapsed and then fill them to the point where there is about 110mm of space from the oil itself to the top of the fork where the valve threads on correct? Should I go all the way to the rim of the tube or just to where the cap would sit if it were installed?

Measure to the top of the fork tube.
