Well, his nickname is Bubba afterall. Seems only fitting.

Posted by: pro2k---------------------

I heard some wierd stuff on a talk show about how the government wanted to lure more black drivers into Nascar. I can see how Nascar would want to broaden their audience but why would the government be involved?

Posted by: Okiewan---------------------

Unregistered talked to James, says he's REALLY fired-up to get in a car. Hopefully not too soon please.

You've GOT to be kidding.

Posted by: zook125---------------------

he's totally pumped to get into nascar. he said that jeff gordens a$$ is his. i think the weight of first turn crashes has been lifted off of his shoulders.

I bet within the next 3-5 years both Stewart and Carmichael will be making left turns only.

LOL....What?

I am all for him taking his dancing to NASCAR. I bet Chad Reed would like to see him go to, then he might actually have a chance to win another title after RC retires.

Posted by: pro2k---------------------

Jesse Jackson's Rainbow/PUSH Coalition called auto racing "the last bastion of white supremacy". I ripped this from an article on the web......can you believe this?? On a talk show I heard something about the government offering scholarships/ Grants to blacks who wish to pursue Nascar careers. Must be another attempt at de-segregation. I wonder if I can get a government grant for my NBA dream.

What on earth does this thread have to do with color?

Not true. I was in the hotel with the Amp'd Mobile girls.

Posted by: pro2k---------------------

Well this thread has to do with Nascar and James Stewart who, I know most people don't realize this, is black! The only thing I added to the equation was government. I'm not trying to start a race war or anything. I just thought that it was interesting that our money (tax dollars) is going into promoting black drivers in Nascar. However, I doubt they are giving JS any cash. I'm sure there are plenty of sponsors that would do that.

Posted by: Vampyrz---------------------

Okie strikes again. I feel like a tool.

Posted by: nephron---------------------

The REAL question is this: Would Stewart go in and kick ass right away, assuming (truth) anyone can drive these circling suppositories of techless feculant matter, or would there be growing pains as a well-developed team builds around him (of course, sponsored by none other than MJ, OJ, and the Reverand Jesse Jackson)?

What a joke the whole thing is. And if it happens, what a ruination of pure and great talent--maybe the greatest ever.

Posted by: Red Mamba---------------------

Why not road racing than nascar?

not the same amount of fan base. Also, not as big a billboard for sponsors.

Posted by: *KISSofDEATH*---------------------

haha good one Okie!

Posted by: rm_racer---------------------

You and your codes Okie... You get me all confused everytime! Lol.

Posted by: MY KDX 220 R---------------------

Unfortunately Uncle Mickey pulled out of the deal a the last minute, but Bubba is a Go !

Posted by: joey26---------------------

HAHA. I'm pretty sure it wasn't me that talked to James

Posted by: justice29---------------------

My handle was in this thread and I didn't even know it. I wish I could remember talking with James though, because I'd tell him to be happy with second place because the GOAT is going to win the title AGAIN this year.

Posted by: h2o5n0da---------------------

i talked to him

Neither RC or JS will perform worth a **** in NASCAR. Just like RC and JS have been racing dirt bikes since they were probably 6 yrs old, the Jeff Gordon's and Dale Earnhardt Jr's of NASCAR were racing go carts at that age.

"Greensboro, NC"....don't be so offended. Well. Yes, please do.... I've been driving since I was six. Does that qualify me as another jerkoff that can run a car around in circles? Get a NASCAR channel and leave me alone. Specifically, the oppressive dilution of the SpeedChannel, which was actually something before the redneck-piloted flying billboards.

Don't be a hater, Neph.

You are a car-ist

Posted by: DRK---------------------

You have got me all wrong because I live in NASCAR country. I think NASCAR is boring. I just respect the skills of the top drivers. Most of them have been driving fast and turning left since they were little and they have gotten really good at doing so. The only stock car racing I see is about a once a year visit to a local track on Saturday night to watch some local guys trade paint.

Posted by: Papakeith---------------------

pred grab the keys, it's time to warm up the Whaaaaaaaambulance again.

Posted by: rickyd---------------------

Good one Okie

Posted by: funktree---------------------

I think a top mx racer would do quite well in nascar, nascar is mostly a mental game, and these guys have got the drive and determination to concentrate for 6 billion left turns, I would run into the wall asleep after 3 laps I think
