Reed's Arm Falls Off in Heat

Unbelievable!
During the first "SX" heat, as JS was losing ground to Chad, Reed's freakin arm fell off.. allowing JS to come from 5th to a sizable lead over the one armed racer.

On the podium Reed said " Yeah, losing an arm would bother some people, a lesser man would have quit. I''m still in this thing, I'll do the best I can. I know with both arms I could give the fans what they really want... me winning the championship"

As of this post, it's yet to be determined if the arm is actually in heat. However, in a surprising twist, Reed's arm has signed a 2 year deal to ride Honda... more as info becomes available.

Grade 3 separation could have made a good fools day joke. Now off this topic a little bit, i heard from the announcer talking about the tension between Reed and Ricky, but couldn't explain further, i wonder what's all about.

I'm sure all these anti Reed comments stem from the realisation that your deep seeded desire to be just like him will never eventuate....and the fact that Aussies are much tougher than you wussy "ouch I can't ride because I've hurt my shoulder" Americans.

Chad Reed has never lost a US title when Ricky Carmichael and James Stewart are in a different class, or not racing at all.

and, food for thought . . . Travis Preston is the last man to beat James Stewart for a title.

i think chad is a good rider,racing while recovering from a seperated shoulder when i tore my ACL i was 2 miles away from my house i had to start it (which hurt like a bitc.h) and ride it back, and i bet it hurt for him with that shoulder
