Where to Live in WY that will cater to the offroad addiction

I am moving my wife and kids to Wyoming this summer. We are looking at the Wind River Valley(Riverton,Lander,etc..). Does anyone have any experience with trail riding in this area of the state? I don't mind a short trip by truck and trailer, but, I am going to purchase a home there. I would love the opportunity to plan for an offroad lifestyle as the same time. I do not want to haul bikes for hours on end to ride for a Saturday. We are leaving PA. In our current home, we ride the bikes right out of our yard!!!!
