ASV Rotator Clamps

Anybody have the ASV Rotator Clamps for clutch and brake?

Do they work?

yeah, they work. You can also leave your purches "kinda loose" and they will rotate in a fall.

While not as "trick" you can also wrap some teflon tape around the bar under your purches.

Being a plumber, I got sh*t loads of teflon tape laying around which I used under my lever clamps for damage control. This is before they started to use those teflon/plastic collars under the clamps.

On a side note, I use teflon tape on bolts for my seat, all plastics, subframe, exhaust pipe & silencer mounting. It definitely prevents corrosion from electrolysis (steel bolt to aluminum threads). And it kinda acts like a very light duty thread locker. Beats using loctite all the time. Just 3-4 wraps should do it.

I've always left them kinda loose, but still managed to break a clutch lever when the bike fell over - not even riding.

I just wondered if they're worth messing with or not.

Buy the levers and never worry again.

Got some money I can borrow - those things are pricey.
