I'm loking to replace my front and rear fenders and number plate with black ones on my YZ. Just thought I would get your opinions. Which company do you prefer for good fit and quality. Thanks for the input.

either of those are fine. There's also Polisport. And Maier.

Don't forget your Mulisha graphics.

UFO plastics are thinner, and I always have to redrill the fastiner bolt holes, Acerbis has a better quality product in my opinion. I saw some one industry fenders in Dave Allan Racing that were thick like acerbis as well.

Maybe my dealer just always gets the bad batch of UFO, but from now on ill pay the few extra dollars and wait for the shipping as they only stock UFO.

I've always been happy with Acerbis and have been disappointed every time with UFO.

definitly acerbis!!!

Acerbis, always had good luck with it. I know my husband had UFO at one time and hated them.

I had UFO fenders on my last KX and they were actually really good other than having to shim the front a little with washers so it would not scrape the frame down tube.

Posted by: Racerdude---------------------

same here with the UFO, it hit my frame tube on my KX. i would stick with acerbis or polisport. i think maier is junk stuff from the stuff i have seen. plastics is another area where you get what you pay for

Instead of shims try a heat gun to adjust the fit.

Well the problem with the fit was that UFO did not include a hump in the fender where the screws went through like the stock ones have. So the UFO fender was too close to the frame, the washers were an easy fix.
