adding fork oil

I have a 01 yz250 and the front fork seal has been leaking slowly for a while now, and I was wondering if I can just take out the bleeder skrew and add some oil. If I can is there a process to this, does the fork need to be compressed, and how to I know how much oil to add?

dont add oil theres no way to know how much to add. Go buy yourself some seals and replace them or have someone do a rebuild for you.
