RC: This is my last full season

Vegas Pre-Race Press conference: RC announces that this is is LAST full season, he'll race only select events next year and work with the team after that. "Now is the time for me to step back".

Des Nations, US Open, SX and Nationals are amoung the "select events".

Reed can't be any happier, he is the new # 2 guy, # 3 position is still wide open with KW and N Wey the most serious contenders.

Here's to the GOAT. I'm happy to see him get out on top of his game. I also like the fact that it opens up some opportunity for some other great rides that are just missing the spot light.

thats pretty cool. how would any of us at that age like to be considered the "best". He has his whole life ahead of him and i bet he will excell in something else before this is all over. Heck look at Jeff Ward, Doug Henry, Ricky Johnson to name some who have had second and now third carreers.

Wardy, that's because regular guys don't usually get started at the young age that guys like Carmichael. I agree with the reply that if Ricky doesn't win this it might change everything.

great now ill have no one to root for but alessi in the lite class, now we get to see if the rumor is true about him going in to nascar, i remeber back in the december issue i think of racer x they had a write up about him testing with everham, well if he goes to nascar ill convert from being a tony stewart fan to a ricky fan

Just our luck ... after spending years knowing who will win every race, it looks like we've got the same deal with Stewart.
