Hole in '01 CR 250 Frame?

After riding today my friend found a hole in the frame on his '01 CR 250. Has anyone experienced or heard of this problem? Any info is appreciated? Thanks BTW I do have pics but I dont know how to post them on this forum.

Remote link them from photo bucket or something, bike pics or and picture hosting place would do, or even better, support DRN and subscribe, then you can add attachments

Where on the frame is it? Do plastics or cables run across it? Ive seen both wear away metal and I would imagine after a while it could go right through.

I was expecting to see the spot where the plastic rubs the frame. But that looks more like a manufacturing defect.

you can get a blue apoxy I dont remember what it is called but it is supposed to be as hard as steel

I don't know if I'd trust an epoxy fix.
There was another guy who posted pictures a couple years ago. His frame broke in two pieces. The upper spars were broke about where the hole in the picture is and the downtube was broke just above where the two lower rails connect with the Y piece.

i have a cr125 and you can see where the plastics have rubbed what can i put there so stop it from leading to that
