125 or 250 for me?

6'1", 150 lbs, and 15 years old.
Aggressive when riding at most times.
I plan on riding dunes and open fields mostly.
I have a little experience with bikes, an old tt250 (about 10 minutes on it) and a kx250f (just rode for a second). So just learned a little throttle control and that kind of stuff.
I don't plan on racing.
I am not mechanically inclined yet, but willing to learn.
Don't care what brand, but want a 2-stroke for the easier and cheaper maintenance.
Most brands available but I want to buy used.
I want to spend under $2000.
I would like a bike that will have the power for dunes and I won't grow out of too fast, but also won't be too much for me.

250's have the power you want for the dunes where the 125's would just scream. but i'm not to sure with your experience that you could handle it.
haven't you made like 10 threads on this over the past year or so?
