How many m3 (cubicmeters) with dirt do I need for a landing ramp?.

Hi guys!

I`m thinking about building an FMX ramp, don`t consider that as a challenge, the hard part will be the landing ramp.

Does anyone know how much dirt I will need to make one?.
I`m thinking about maybe 4 truck loads with dirt (each load is 8-10 m3) , anyone have a clue?.

I wont spend 350$ on building a ramp if making a landing ramp is impossible moneywise.. .

Wellwell

Your 40 cM is pretty close might take 50 when all said and done.

remember that you will have to compact the dirt - this will translate to something like a 10-20% loss of volume (depending on type of dirt and how hard you compact)

Here you go.....

With those dimensions, my estimate is way off. It will be closer to 150-180 cM.

Indeed BSWIFT. There's a lot of dirt in a good landing. I prefer to find a natural landing and take the ramp to it......

where can you buy those ramps from? Or do you guys make them yourself?

I made both of mine, but you can buy them from FMX.

They'll sell you a complete ramp, plans, or, if you read enough of thier site, you can pretty much figure out how it's done and do it yourself.
