Hey all, I was just wondering if anyone has been riding the power lines in Southern Ontario. I went out a couple of weekends ago and had a great time.

You can ride for miles and miles. There are many trails its really fun. If you havent tried them yet you will like them

I was out at some powerlines last week, going next week. What power lines are you riding? You riding the 1 that go either way in Hamilton just past Rhymal? They definatly go far I've almost run out of gas a few times. :D

Posted by: highflyernick---------------------

I live right on those powerlines (they are on the edge of my 150 acre property), by Tillsonburg if any of you know where that is. It is near london for anybody not knowing..lol..

Posted by: John Cena---------------------

If it's the place in Hamilton. Do you ride the trails at the old rock quary across Rhymal near Nebo? I might go riding there Monday suppose to be nice, only 22C

Posted by: John Cena---------------------

Well I went there yesterday, I was surpised to find it dry there. I thought it would be real muddy after all that rain.

Posted by: John Cena---------------------

Jef you going riding tommorow? C'mon someone post this forum is beyond dead. Did the HEAT get you all!

I'm going there tommrow taking 16 litres of fuel with me I hope the gas isn't 1.21 a litre for 94Oct like last week. issed:

Well I went there today. It was so flooded out it's not funny. I was cruising along, hit 1 puddle thinking it was small and wham water splashes over my head. I thought I was going to drown

Posted by: John Cena---------------------

WoW! What happened to all the Ontario Boys? Did you forget to pay your internet bill?

jefpel_1213 you going riding there Sat 12 tommorow? I was there yesterday, met a guy on a Green 700 quad. It was nice and dry, i'm going there tommorow.

I still pop in now & then but I broke my ankle and have been in deep depression since.
2 weekends ago I did my maiden return with a nice trail ride but about 4-5km from the truck my bike lost spark and I had to push it out of the woods.. Now that hurt...

Posted by: Speedfreek---------------------

ouch,I bet that hurt, did you get the bike fixed? What was the problem?

Posted by: i_955---------------------

Don't know. The bike was running perfect, was actually thinking "wow this is perfect". Not a minute later it died, like the kill switch was pushed. Tried a new plug, bypassed the switch then started pushing.
Threw the bike in the corner and jumped on the street bike.

Posted by: Speedfreek---------------------

I guess you are pretty pissed off at the bike right now

Posted by: John Cena---------------------

Jef cmon get on here lets go riding. I just bought 16 liters of gas and am ready to ride the powerlines. I found a mini track with some small jumps.

Posted by: John Cena---------------------

Back from another dayz riding! The YZ is holding up perfectly, I havn't fouled a plug all year. But I can't say the same about my rear tire, it's wasted. It lasted a long time though has over 200 hours on it. I had a freak accident today, somehow a bee got in my shirt.

Hey i was just wonderin where these wicked powerlines are i am located in guelph

Posted by: joggera148---------------------

i always rip these powerlines but cant get any further then highway 6 (upperjames) i am coming from ancaster towards highway 6, how do i get further on that trail?

Posted by: John Cena---------------------

joggera148 where are you ending up beside the Pioneer gas station? If so you just have to cross the hi-way then go down that road beside the corn feild and take your first left then the trail starts threw the corn again. Or if you want you can squeeze through the first small corn feild till the quad trail starts. I might go there Sunday.

Posted by: xr400r---------------------

what is the closest point ot guelph and is there any safe parking areas around please help me out desperatly want to get out and ride any help would be greatly appreciated

Posted by: John Cena---------------------

What I don't know is how to get past Garth street. XR400R wish I could help you but I have no idea about the lines out there.

Posted by: joggera148---------------------

i guess i am making a wrong turn somewhere, i dont end up at the pioneer i end up at twenty road and 6 going to go explore that one today
