im a 16year old 5-11" 165pound teenager. you know i like riding and racing bikes as much as i can with my friends and going really FAST. i would like to get a 2005 Crf 250r four stroke because i heard four strokes last longer and you can pinn the bike throw a jump without blowing anything. two strokes i would like a 2005 Cr 250r because o really do prefer this bike than the four stroke honestly. 1. their fast 2. i love the way they sound. and thats about it but i hear they blow pistons really easy. does that cost alot and how do you prevent that from happening other than making sure your fuel mixture is good and checking your airfilter, i mean by how is it that the bike wants to be ridden. So what do i do, i got 3 gran i can use for a bike, but; the bike costs 6 gran. parents wise, bikes, information, HELP PLEASE

Spell check...its at the bottom of your post frame, try it.

Who told you CR250 two strokes blow up? Its one of the most reliable bikes on earth. A great race bike and even a good play bike.
A 250 four stroke will require a regular maintenance routine to keep the valves in it.
The 250F is not much more that a beefy 125...with more torque.

You will be more happy on a 250 smoker (at 165 pounds).
