dual sport how do dr650-dr400 compare??

Still looking for info ,anyone tried each of these bikes?I had a dr350/200/100/750-Canadian model),but wanna idea about how the 400 compares to the 350/650 gas mileage,maintenance etc..Just not in the market for a dirtbike only due to location.

I'd like to see what the differences are between the 400 and 650 too...

I would imagine the 400 would be the best choice as it is a newer bike than the 650...
