YZ400f on racing fuel

Does anyone know if you can run a 1999 yz400f on racing fuel ive heard that you cant but im not absolutely sure.

You can but you won't get leaps and bounds of performace out of it. Use good 92 octane pump. That's what it was designed for if it still has the stock compression ratio. Plus, last time I looked, racing gas was climbing to around $10 a gallon.
