Does a 1993 xr 600 have a metal tank stock?

could someone please help me find out if a stock 93 xr600 has a metal tank.?

i'm supposed to drive a long ways to see one and don't want it if it has a metal tank, i would ask the owner but i can't get a hold of him right now.

XR600's (all years) had plastic tanks.

SOunds like you have a XR600L which is the street legal bike. Someone probably stripped it.
