What are the advantages or disadvantages of running the 18" or 19" rims. I ride woods 95% of the time on my CRF450 and I'm always hearing guys talking about changing the 19" rims for an 18" rim. Why? Does this affect your suspension settings when you change rim sizes? Educate me gentlemen!!

The 18" rear tires are less prone to pinch flats than the 19" tires used in MX and SX. I believe the 19" wheel & tire combos are lighter, which is why they're preferred for MX/SX use.

Is that the only reason the would change to an 18" rim? Are there any other benifits?
