well my bike came with one,but im short so i was thinking about shaving some foam.

For the taller guys, it helps them sit up higher so it is easier to transition from standing to sitting. I don't suffer from this problem myself!

I'm 6'2" and the tall seat that is on my K5 helps me transition from sitting to standing as well as not feeling that I'm riding a mini bike.

any one want to trade a tall yz250f seat with n-style all-trac cover for a standard?

Yea it's for guys taller than 6 foot that feel like they're riding a mini bike. You can also get taller bars+risers, lower their footpegs and other stuff too.
