Yamah ttr250 questions

I have a '01 ttr250. i race pocketbikes and i am very familiar with two smoke engines. im starting to race indoors this winter on my ttr but i dont know where to start on getting it "race ready". I know some suspension modifications needed to be made and a couple little engine and carburator tunes. im not looking to spend much money, but i do want to keep the bike in the 125cc class. could you guys help me out? thanks,
