Paragon Fall ride?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Where is everybody, isn't it about time to plan a fall ride? I was thinking the first or second weekend of November (hopefully Keith will be free to ride by then) Lets see if we can pick some dates and get something going.

Posted by: RM_guy---------------------

If we pick a date, will you show up? That, my son is the question.

I'm open for about any day in November.

Posted by: squeaky---------------------

Hmmm....November huh?

I'll have to run this one by da' Roostah!

Posted by: Treejumper---------------------

Might be possible. Guess i'll need to get a new chain as i cracked some links on the last ride there.

Posted by: Treejumper---------------------

Oh yeah, also depends on whats up with my arm. Still hurts from my little wreck Dave caused. Looks like someone stuck a piece of rope under my skin. Only hurts when i straighten it or touch it. Think i popped a ligament or something. Works fine the rest of the time.

yes!

yes old man, I will be there. I was just affraid of melting if I went to the last ride in the rain.

Actually i skipped it because i threw my back out a couple days before, and could hardly move...maybe I am the old man.

Maybe but I really showed my age at the last ride...or just how out of shape I've gotten!

Posted by: CRFGuy---------------------

Don't feel bad. I ran the Moonshine Enduro last weekend and by the end I was feeling mighty old and tired myself. Looking foward to nice relaxing ride at Paragon this weekend but need to find a new Campground oh wait I mean hotel. One that has better security then the comfort inn

I had a great time clearing trail with you guys last fall, but I won't be riding this fall. Getting surgery on my hand in a couple of weeks and will be out of riding til at least December

Nick

I am wondering the same thing...I have followed the rides with a lot interest and was looking foward to actually making the November ride,I hope it comes together!

Posted by: Papakeith---------------------

It'll come together. Have no fear.

Posted by: scooter1130---------------------

I will be there on whatever weekend is picked

Posted by: RM_guy---------------------

So which weekend is it? Everyone get out your crystal ball to see which weekend will be warmest!

Posted by: scooter1130---------------------

I would start a poll to pick a date, but it wont let me.

Posted by: Papakeith---------------------

weekend of the 18th and 19th works for me

we could have 2 feet of snow on the ground by then

Posted by: Papakeith---------------------

OK, I just got clearance for the 4th and 5th. How does that sound? The usual deal. Ride all day Saturday and 1/2 day Sunday.

Posted by: RM_guy---------------------

4th and 5th sounds good to me

Posted by: squeaky---------------------

Hmmm - I'll have to run this one by Roo

Posted by: BonChance13---------------------

I know I will be the FNG...the 4/5th sounds good.I really can't wait to ride with you guys.

Posted by: RM_guy---------------------

Just so everyone knows. The 4th and 5th is the Toys for Tots ride so get there very early to avoid the long lines...

Posted by: squeaky---------------------

Who exactly do you have to tell that anyway, Dave???

Posted by: scooter1130---------------------

honestly you are better off to get there after 9:00 when the monthly ride/toys for tots ride heads out, it will be easier that way

Well, Rooster and I will not be able to make this one. We've got other travel plans for later in the year that prevent us from being able to do both.

Have fun guys!

Nov 4-5 Sounds cold but count me in. Dave did you buy a stabilizer yet? Anyone up for this weekend? I'll be there with a friend who is a very new rider so it will be a slow ride if anyone is interested.

Nope, no stabilizer yet. I haven't ridden since the last time we were at Paragon so plan on me being slow again...hey, bring your friend on the 4th!!

I'll start a thread in the Places to Ride forum.

Have fun. Once again I won't be able to attend. Been riding enduros every Sunday since 9/24. Last one for the season is the Black & Blue on 10/29. Keeping my bike and my body in one piece has been nothing short of a miracle. Need a couple weekends off just to rejuvinate.
