TFS just called in to report that unfortunately RC won't be able to race at MXoN. RC will travel to UK probably tomorrow to give his support to Team USA The #1 is being put right now on James's bike in a track near Matterley Basin where he'll start practicing in about a hour. With the #1 on his bike James will be the Team USA's direct contender of Stefan Everts in the MX1 class. The weather here is just perfect right now. MM P.S. Thanks RC for trying so hard!! |

September 22, 2006 It's Official: Carmichael Will Not Race the MXdN We just got off the phone with DC, and after everyone held out hope that Ricky Carmichael's injured shoulder would heal enough for him to be able to lead Team USA in the MX1 class at this weekend's Motocross des Nations, the champ just isn't ready and has regrettably pulled out of the race. RC's Factory Suzuki teammate Ivan Tedesco will take his place in the lineup. Carmichael is due to arrive in England this afternoon to lend his support and leadership to Team USA. The new lineup for Team USA's MXdN effort is: MX1: James Stewart MX2: Ryan Villopoto MX3: Ivan Tedesco |
