Remove fork springs on '06 YZ125???

Folks,

I bought my son an '06 YZ125 and want to slip in a lighter set of fork springs. Is there an easy way to do this without taking the entire fork apart? Is there a way to do it by only going through the top of the fork?

Nope, there's no way. You can, however, remove the upper assembly as a unit. But you can't get the springs out without draining the fluid.
