xr200 vs xr250

I looking into getting a used xr. Whats the main difference between the 200 and 250? Does 50cc make a big difference? Also has anyone been able to fit either bike in the back of a Chevy Astro van? Thanks.

50cc is the small difference betwixt the two. The 200 is more a beginner bike (especially 90s on), while the 250 has some adjustable suspension and whatnot, especially the late 90s

the 50cc has more of a difference in power than you might think. i used to have a mid 90s xr200 great beginners bike, then i upgraded to a 2001 xr250, no comparison on power difference. and the 250 has quite a bit more suspension travel. depending on your height and skill level either is a great choice.
