cr125r or crf250r?

I am 15 and have about 5 years on the saddle and was wanting to get a new bike. an upgrade from my cr85 that usually ride around on trails and just have fun with my friends. but now i want to get serious and RACE competion!!! my friends all have a crf250r and i want a bike thats faster than theirs.(i know its not the bike but its the rider but knowing you have the best bike on the track when you go out there lets me focus on my racing more!) so cr125r or crf250?

if u can learn to ride a 125 the right way. no 1 can touch ya. i watch it every weekend at track.

crf 250,
The thumpers are alot mellow ride, a 2 stroke you always find yourself fighting
with it.
ive ride'n 2 strokes my hole life and now ive got a 4 stroke and ill never go back!!!
