'93 RM 125 Fork Seals

I'm tryin to change my fork seals on my 93 RM 125 and I'm havin the biggest troubles. I can't seam to get the spring to push down so I could get a 17mm wrench on the bolt holdin the catridge to unscrew the top. I've got some shock compressors that would seem like they should work but don't. The spring is tapered at the top and close to the catridge, Real close. My shock compressors won't get directly at the top so it could work. I'm runnin out of idea's and not tryin to pay $130 + parts for each fork. Any help would Rock.

Here is are 3 pix of my shocks:
as you can tell my wrench is to thick to get in without compressing the spring. I've tried a thinner set of wrenches but they seem to be thin enough but too wide. I've had the spring compressors on but they won't pull it past the tappered edge.
