Hey guys!
The season is almost over and cold slowly makes itself at home. I would like to sell my 00 kx 125 to buy a newer bike. However, I am afraid I will have difficulty selling the thing because 125s are now less popular.
Now do I sell the bike? Or do I keep it and invest more money on it (already 1k invested on this year)! If I keep it, I'd have more money so it would permit me to do a couple of races next year. However, I feel it is a ticking timb bomb
So do I sell it? If yes I'm losing half the season in order to gain some money to buy a newer bike and races will be impossible.
Do I keep it? I'd like better suspensions (can aftermarket rebeuilt 00 shocks be as good as newer bikes?), piston and ring will have to be changed. I don't know what the cylinder looks like but I have a bad feeling because when I bought the bike and took the carb apart to clean it up, there were two slots of sand
Although compression tests are alright.
Anyway these are some of the questions I'm asking myself. I love mx more than anything else and I am very tight on budget. What would you guys do?
Can't thank you enough!!

It seems like an easy answer, if you sell this bike you don't have enough cash for a new one. This bike is better than no bike. Freshen it up and have fun.

Ok so invest more money on that bike? I'll still post it for sale. If I do sell it, all the better! If I don't, too bad!
