Buying a '02 XR250-any cautions/suggestions????

Hi All,
I'm about to pick up a super nice '02 model(stock,w/ FMF silencer & Bark Busters),and I've never owned a 4stoker
before( have owned dozens of 2 strokers,tho. I've ridden this bike,and love it;although I may add a lowering link and more
teeth on the rear sprocket).
Price-$1900.
Any suggestions or cautions to follow ???

Yes,it is! I'm now looking for a XR400 to do up as a "street-tard"...failing that,I'll mod the '04 YZ 125 to accept an XR400
engine for the same project.

this is a great bike i used to own a 2001 XR250 now my brother owns it, FMF pipe on that also. he put a 52 tooth rear sprocket on his and loves it he went with a Renthal kit sprocket and chain.
