Lighter shock spring to make bike fly nose high?

Would using either heavier fork springs or a lighter shock spring change the balance of a bike enough to change the way it flies?
As an example, a bike comes stock with a 5.2 shock spring and .45 fork springs. We keep the shock spring but increase the forks to something like .47 or .48.
My thinking is as the suspension compresses into the jump face it will "chopper" off the lip thus leaving the front higher than would have happened with the stock springs.
Does this seem correct or is the change so slight it would not be noticeable?

If you went riding with the lighter spring, then just put in the heavier ones with no other adjustments and started riding full tilt immediately, it might have a noticeable effect. If you make the change, then go riding with normal warm up and such, I'm pretty sure it will not be that big a deal. Body position and throttle control will make a much bigger difference
