Help me make my decision!

Heres the deal, I am fourteen years old and do not have a job. I have an old suzuki SP 125 that I am planning on selling for about $550. My mom told me that if i can find a way to pay for some of the cost she would pay for most of it to get me a dirt bike next spring. On the other hand I have a friend that has a 2002 CR80RB Expert that he has tunned up to go about 73 mph that he will sell me for somewhere around 1500. I don't know if i should wait until next spring and have more time to sell my dirt bike and make money after that so I have more money to put into a dirt bike, or if I should sell it know and have my mom pay for the other $800!

what would you do?

the 125 is a bigger bike if u think thats too small get a 200 or 250 4 stroke if u can afford it other wise get a 2 stroke

Thanks, but I do not need advise on getting a 2t or a 4t, I already decided on a 2.

All I want to know is if I should get the 02' CR 80 or wait and see if I can get an 06' CR 85 by the end of maybe next summer.
