I have 95 kx 125 forks, triples and wheel assembly. I sent my KX triples and stem from FRP to a suspension shop in Arizona. There is a machinist there that has done the work before so I trusted he could make it happen. Two weeks later, the shop is sending the triples back to me work not done. Turns out the machinist joined the national guard. CAN ANYONE HELP OUT WITH CONTACT INFORMATION TO A MACHINIST THAT CAN SWAP THE KX STEM WITH THE KDX???? The shop I had sent it to said the kdx stem was a bit loose, so I will also need a sleeve and/or pinning. Many, many thanx in advance. Marc B

I would just take it to a local machine shop and have them knurl the KX bottom triple, use some cylindrical locking Loctite and press in the KDX stem.

I take it the stems are already out?

I will ask around again, but most of my previous inquiries with local machine shops have not been met with great enthusiasm. That's why I'm trying to cut to the chase and find someone who has done this before.
